SILVER SALMON (COHO)

Coho fishing gets intense in our area.  With a limit of 6 per day, per fisherman, you can fill a freezer with these great eating fish.  Coho's run from around 7lbs to 15lbs on average and 24-30 inches long.  They are easy to fish for and intense fighters that usually run in big schools.  Fishing can get very intense when a school is located.  They put up an excellent fight, leaping repeatedly and not giving up until landed.  They are distinguished as being the most acrobatic of the Pacific salmon.
